• I am not very good at anything conserning the DB, so I seek some help

When I try to enter byroetistruer.dk/wp-admin I get this message:

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql22.cliche.dk. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

It might be rhe config.php theres something wrong with, but I don’t know. I have literally tried everything.

My mail is [redacted]. I can mail you the necessary information

  • Hello lemads20,

I think your WordPress website is not able to connect with your database host.

Yes, that is correct that it can be checked via config file and also you would need the cPanel access to check the database is proper and you have used correct details.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Kartik

    Hi there,

It usually happens when there is some problem with your database.
Open WP-Config file and add define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true); at the end of ‘That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging’ Once you have done that, you can see the settings by visiting this page: https://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/maint/repair.php

You can also check the error logs file in your hosting.

    Hope this helps.
