Error Establishing a database connection

  • Hello my name is Bruno,

    And my site socialneur.com is having some issues when i tried to upload a backup with the plugin updraftplus.

    When i finished it said

    Error Establishing a database connection/

    “Error Establishing a database connection” message shown when your website did not connect properly to the database/MySql, you can check the wp-config.php file, and see the username and password of your website if your hosting/server use Cpanel you can check MySql Database and reset the password with the new one. And then add the new password to the wp-config.php file.

    I access the wp-config throught filezilla but i dont have cPanel because my website is hosted in AWS, how can i know my correct credentials?

    You can see your correct credentials in your wp-config.php and your backup website file in Updraftplus. Are you hosted your WordPress site in Amazon EC2 ? You can try check this post forum https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?messageID=931450
