“Error Establishing Database Connection” after setting up Woocommerce

    The website became inaccessible after woocommerce was set up. More specifically, it was right after clicking “install Jetpack by wordpress” that in the woocommerce set-up process. So it probably has nothing to do with woocommerce.(?)

    The website now renders “Error Establishing Database Connection” both backend and frontend.

    Please kindly help with solutions.

  • Have your DB settings change in the WP Config file? I’d suggest checking the details in your database and make sure they’re the same in the WP config file.
