    My guess is that the broken image has been cached by your browser. The image that you point to works in my browser.

    To investigate if this is the case, try disabling the “Create webp files upon request?” option in the “.htaccess rules for webp generation” section. If the webps requested directly still shows this message, it must be because they are cached.

    If it is not due to cache, please write to me, as in that case, I will need your help debugging it. For example, I would like to see the generated .htaccess in your uploads folder. My email is [email protected]

    You can also look in the Network tab to see if the image is taken from cache. See this screenshot

    Do you still experience the problem? I’m guessing that modern browsers don’t cache broken images for very long, if at all
