ERROR: Failed to download WordPress core

    Hi, im trying to move a site from a2hosting to siteground and keep getting the below message. Ive checked the token and it is correct. Tried to issue a new one but got the message that i already have one. Also i have removed the security plugin.

    Thank you in advance for any guidance!

    Failed to complete WordPress installation on the destination server. Destination responded with ‘ERROR: Failed to download WordPress core’. Please retry with another transfer token.

    Hello @dataprovider,

    The provided error may be temporary and I would recommend restarting the transfer. You should also make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin.

    Thanks for the fast reply. The mistake i had done (if someone happens to do the same!) was that i had already created a wordpress installation on siteground! I removed that so there was an empty target to migrate to, and the plugin worked like magic!
