Error! Failed to log the download request in the database table

    When the download button is clicked, it shows the error “Error! Failed to log the download request in the database table”

    Hi,

    Can you enable Debug mode in the plugin settings. Then carry out a test. Once you have completed the test, can you check the log file. Report back with any findings.

    Can you provide the URL with the download button?

    Also did you update any plugins or your theme lately?

    Thanks for your prompt response. I logged in to my cpanel, clicked on “Check Database”, it shows the below log, so i clicked on “repair Database”, and the error was fixed.

    [driversn_wp578.wpax_sdm_downloads] 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
    [driversn_wp578.wpax_sdm_downloads] Size of indexfile is: 1073152 Should be: 1024
    [driversn_wp578.wpax_sdm_downloads] Record-count is not ok; is 115704 Should be: 0
    [driversn_wp578.wpax_sdm_downloads] Found 115704 key parts. Should be: 0
    [driversn_wp578.wpax_sdm_downloads] Corrupt
