Hi,

I have set up a Web Push Platforms application with WordPress in my OneSignal account, but I have a problem when displaying notifications.

When I access my page I get the message to give permission to receive notifications, but when I accept and give permission I get the following errors.

The path of the provided scope ('/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/push/onesignal/') is not under the max scope allowed ('/fenie.es/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/'). Adjust the scope, move the Service Worker script, or use the Service-Worker-Allowed HTTP header to allow the scope.

When I go to my OneSignal profile to see the users who have given permission to receive notifications I see that there are none so I cannot send notifications.

In the configuration of the platform in the SITE URL parameter does not allow me to put the URL where I have installed the WordPress because I can not put the directory of the installation. It only allows me to enter https://feniees-cp524.wordpresstemporal.com and there is nothing in that URL.

Is this the problem with users not registering with OneSignal to receive notifications?
How can I indicate the correct URL of the WordPress installation?

Hello

Some of the files our WordPress plugin automatically includes on your site is being re-written to be served from a Content Delivery Network (CDN) instead of your site directly.

Due to browser restrictions on web push, these files must not be re-written and have to be served from the same site origin users are accessing your site from.

Generally this is an easy setting to update in your CDN plugin. Most common CDN plugin settings can be updated following this guide: Troubleshooting Web Push – WordPress CDN Support: https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/troubleshooting-wordpress-web-push#wordpress-cdn–cache-plugin-support

Hi @onesignal,

I am not using any CDN.

My WordPress is installed on https://feniees-cp524.wordpresstemporal.com/fenie.es/ but in the OneSignal platform configuration it doesn’t allow me to set the directory where the WordPress installation is so you can only set https://feniees-cp524.wordpresstemporal.com.

In the error it is giving me it is trying to load the ServiceWorker from a directory that does not exist “Failed to register a ServiceWorker for scope (‘https://feniees-cp524.wordpresstemporal.com/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/push/onesignal/’)”.

How can I tell it that the ServiceWorker URL is https://feniees-cp524.wordpresstemporal.com/fenie.es/wp-content/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/sdk_files/push/onesignal/ instead of the one it is looking for?
