Error Fetching Plugins

    I tried to activate the Auto-Update Plugins feature. When it brings me to my WordPress account page, I get the error “Error Fetching Plugins on…” I’ve searched this issue a bit and the only suggestion I found dealt with the xmlrpc.php file. When I browse to

    https://www.scottyhuff.com/xmlrpc.php

    (on multiple browsers, incognito mode, etc.), I get the appropriate response of

    XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

    Not sure what to do next. Can anyone lend a hand?

    Hi Scotty, we’re getting a 404 with that, both when we visit the file directly and when we run Debug on it via https://jetpack.com/support/debug/ .

    If the file still exists there, can you check with your host to see if they’re blocking it? You can also share the debug page with them, as it will have helpful troubleshooting tips.
