JetPack- MyJetpack: red banner error “There was an error fetching your purchases information. Check your site connectivity and try again.”

    JetPack is connected.
Disable and enabling plug-in does not resolve the issue.
Payment info in WordPress is up to date and valid.

I have customer orders to ship and I can’t because WooCommerce shipping relies on JetPack for the connection to WordPress payments.

    Hi @hermcupadmin

Thanks for contacting us about this. I took a look for you and your Jetpack connection looks great. Could you share a screenshot so we can see what you’re describing?

You can create screenshots using something like Snipboard or Imgur and post the link here.

I did the following and there was no change in error message:
    1) disabled all plug-ins including JetPack
    2) deleted and re-installed JetPack.
    3) reconnected JetPack.
-error “There was an error fetching your purchases information. Check your site connectivity and try again.”

    JetPack MyStatus shows connected
Wordpress Settings–>General shows the site is connected to WordPress
Wordpress profile payment methods is accurate.

Meanwhile, I still can’t ship WooCommerce orders because WooCommerce Shipping Can’t Connect to the WordPress Payment because JetPack isn’t fetching your purchases information.

    Hi @hermcupadmin

At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

I could not wait for you all to tinker around while I was loosing business for delayed shipping.
    – I tried to disconnect Jetpack using the www.ads-software.com site. When I deactivated and re-activated the plug-in the same error still happened.
-From my site, I went to JetPack-MyJetpack-Disconnect. I clicked on disconnect but when I refreshed page the site was still connected.
    – From my site, I went to JetPack-Dashboard-At a Glace-Connetions-Site Connections-Manage Site Connection and that link finally disconnected JetPack. I was then able to deinstall then reinstall jetpack then connect. After that the error did not show up.

While I appreciate Automattic providing WordPress, JetPack, and WooCommerce free of charge. As our retail continues to grow efficient support is vital. Unless there is a paid support option for faster resolution, it may be time to find a better e-commerce partner combination.

    Hi @hermcupadmin

I’m sorry that we weren’t able to resolve this for you.

We were planning to look into this for you, but we did not receive the requested email from you and reached the limits of what we could support via the forums as we needed to do some testing on your server. We’d be happy to continue with that process if you want to contact us, which you can do via this contact form
