• Hello!

I tried to connect with the plugin to my Meta account, it shows to me my Portfolio, Pages and so on, when I finished the setup it shows an sucessfull message and it redirects me to an Woocommerce page that has a button to redirect me to my site, then I get the error message:

    “Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.”

When I acess my site again, the plugin still shows me to start the connection as it was not connected. But in my Pixel, it shows that I have a partner connect Woocommerce. But Events looks like that are not being tracked yet.

I’ve read some other support messages here, I tried to disable Cache and Firewall but it didnt worked.

Can you help me solving this issue? Thank you.

Hello, thank you for reaching out.

Is it possible to review the mod_security/apache logs to see if the firewall/security settings are too strict or if there is an error related to the final step?

Can you also share the following:

    • Your site’s?system status report?using?PrivateBin?so we can better understand your site’s setup?
    • A screenshot of the error and the URL on which it occurs?

    Thank you for the reply,

I asked for my host support to review the mod_security and they told me they turned it less strict. I tried again to do the process of integrating the plugin with my meta account but the same error happens.

I’ve checked my error log and nothing there is related to the days I tried to connect the plugin.

Hi, thanks for sending the report!

Can you try temporarily disabling the Endurance Page Cache plugin, and clearing cache, before trying to reconnect to the plugin?

Cache?can be quite stubborn, so it may be still holding on to some data. Please let us know if you are able to complete the setup successfully.

    Best,
    Marko

P.S. Do you have any rules in the WordFence plugin which may affect the connection/limit access?

About Endurance Page Cache plugin it was already set to cache 0 which should be disabled. But I managed to ask my host support to remove it, so now it is uninstalled from my site. My W3TC cache is also disabled.

But I tried again and the same error happens.

About Wordfence, no special rules applied, just basic configuration. But I tried to do this process with Wordfence disabled too and the same error happens. Also when it was enabled it got no logs about blocked requisitions when I tried.

I updated here if you need:

Could it be related to Woocommerce or API Woocommerce as this last step occurs before the error message of “Not Acceptable!” ?

Any other sugestion we could try? Thank you for the support.

Hi again, can you share a screenshot of the error as well?

It appears that something is failing on the last step and it may be a server/config issue or something on WooCommerce.

    Hi @rafaelzrt

The issue seems to be related to your server setup, so you’ll need to reach out to your hosting provider for assistance:

    • Inform them that you’re using the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin and provide the error message you receive when attempting to connect.
    • Share the URL where you encounter the “Not acceptable!” error.
    • Ask them to adjust the ModSecurity rules to allow the request to go through, in order to allow you to establish the connection.

Please let us know if they’re able to help you resolve the issue so that the connection can be established successfully.

    Kind regards,
    Marija
