@jjnw – That would likely prevent it from loading the saved settings from your database.

Try this instead:

To

$options = (array) get_option( static:: $_prefix . 'settings', array() );

get_option’s second parameter is what to return if no value exists already. And (array) forces it to be an array.

Will open an issue to patch that in the plugin, thanks for the report.
