Error “Forbidden” while saving Settings

Additional information: I double-checked the permissions on the server. All files have permission 644 (rw-r–r–) and all directories have 755 (r-wr-xr-x), which looks OK to me. So, what is the problem?

I would ask the hosting company to check since they have access to the error logs and might be able to figure out the cause of the error (maybe a firewall rule).
