I’m getting this error on the dashboard:
“Notice: has_cap was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.0! Usage of user levels by plugins and themes is deprecated. Use roles and capabilities instead. in /XXXXredactedXXXX/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3006”

S2member uses user levels, right? This and PODS are the only plugins I have that mess with users levels roles capabilities.

    Thanks,

    Lew

  • No, s2member uses roles, though these roles are divided into levels. So I doubt that that message is referring to s2member. Try installing the Query Monitor plugin and see what plugin it identifies as causing the error.

    NICE plugin. thanks, KTS!

Found the culprit, WordPress Post Tabs. Thanks to your help, I will notify the plugin author of this issue, maybe save some folks some grief down the road.

    Thanks again and Happy WPing!
