    HELLO!

I added the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin to my site, then added the Site and Secret keys. Now my site will not allow me to log in on an incognito window.

I get this error message: Google reCAPTCHA verification failed.

I deactivated the other plugins and tried a different theme but could not log in with your plugin activated.

    Any suggestions?

    NEAL

PS: I included the URL to my site in the “Link to the page you need help with” field above but the reCAPTCHA plugin is deactivated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @nealumphred

You must have created a Site and Secret Keys for V2 or V3. Make sure you select the same (V2 or V3) for which you have created keys on the plugin’s setting page.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    MANESH

    Thanks for the response.

I have V3 selected in Google reCAPTCHA (https://www.google.com/recaptcha).

I have V3 selected in Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin.

Still cannot log in with plugin activated.

Same issue here and I am unable to login to wordpress admin console because the reCAPTCHA says ERROR: Google Recaptcha Verification fails

I just realized that I set up my account with a google enterprise key instead of the V3 from the (non-enterprise reCAPTCHA).
How would I regain access to my wordpress account in order to correct this mistake?

This is a problem I have too. Has it been solved? I can’t access my WP admin now that this plugin is installed and I tried to go into FTP and rename the plugin folder but the recaptcha remains.

I don’t believe so, but What I did was I went to my hosting provider and went through the WordPress URL directly and it logged me in. This particular plugin only works for the older version of Google’s RECAPTCHA not the newest enterprise version. Hope this helps!

Well, I will be giving away my age here, but combine my experience with the other comments above and this plugin brings to mind a hit record from my youth: “She’s a Must to Avoid” by Herman’s Hermits.
