Error: Home URL redirects to /user

When I login with a non-admin user, the home URL redirects to:
https://domain.com/user/<username>/?redirect_to=https://domain.com/ and user profile page is shown instead home page.
And when I logout, I get and empty page.This doesn’t happen with an admin user.
Any ideas why does it happen?
