Hi,

We turned on “Archive page Support” on our site but the category description is causing errors because we use the “img src”-tag in there. We manually placed images in the description and those images aren’t “AMPed” bij the plugin. So the validor returns:

“Invalid URL protocol ‘http:’ for attribute ‘src’ in tag ‘img’.”

Already tried giving the description area a “display: none” but that doesn’t help. Is there a fix for this?

Thank you so much for using the plugin!

I just discussed this with my lead developer and he said that we can fix this in the future updates. I have included this into a Github ticket, see: https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/659 – We will fix this in the future updates.

Hi Khaled,

Thanks for this. Installed the update and archive pages don’t give AMP-errors anymore. The image in the description isn’t displaying though. See for example: https://historiek.net/thema/amsterdam/amp/

In the source you can see the pages should display this image: https://i0.wp.com/historiek.net/wp-content/uploads-phistor1/2015/09/Amsterdam.jpg?w=848

…but instead it’s returning a large empty block.

Any idea what’s going on?

2) Category have an AMP-url now as well, but they redirect to the non-AMP version. See for example: https://historiek.net/tweede-wereldoorlog/amp
