"Error In Adding File" with no details

  • Whenever I try to add a file I get an error “Error In Adding File” with no further details.
    If I try to add by uploading, the file is sent to the server, but it still comes up with that error.

    I’ve checked the apache logs and there are no errors there, and the tables seem to be in place in the DB. I’m at a loss on how to diagnose this.

    Apache on Windows Server 2008R2, with full r/w to the directory.
    Wordpress 3.5.1 multi-site.

    WP-DownloadManager is not compatible with MS yet, unless it is placed in the plugins folder of the site itself rather than in the global plugins folder

    I only need it on one site within the network, so that is an acceptable compromise.
    However, I was not aware that there were site-specific folders. A quick google search doesn’t come up with anything relevant. How can I make this plugin work with my multi-site, even it its only available to one of the sites?

    Got it working. Had to deactivate it from the network root, and activated it on the individual site I wanted. Seems to be uploading files just fine now.
