Before I share about any other possible cause or solution, however, it’s a good idea to first do a quick check on your settings again (if these are set up incorrectly, it can cause an issue.). I understand that you have already tried cross-checking this. However, one last time, you can check on this by comparing your form settings for reCAPTCHA against our tutorial and making sure that the site key is added correctly. Here’s the?link?for reCAPTCHA and here’s the link for hCAPTCHA. If any detail in the doc is confusing, please just let us know.
In case the settings are correct and the issue still exists you can try this next step:
If you happen to use any of the optimization plugins, such as WP Rocket, Autoptimize, etc. You may need to change some settings in these plugins to fix your reCAPTCHA/hCAPTCHA problem as sometimes they can cause conflict.
In your optimization plugin, you need to disable Javascript optimization settings temporarily. Then, save these settings and clear the cache to see if it resolves the reCAPTCHA issue. We have a detailed guide on this here and here.
