Error in creating child theme

  • Hi! I create a css for a child theme. I create new folder in wp-content and I upload the css child theme, but when I go to wp dashboard->appereance->themes

    I get an error 

    Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

Accesspress Lite	The parent theme is missing. Please install the "AccesspressLite" parent theme.

  • You surely miss the reference to the parent theme in the header of the stylesheet. That is needed because a child theme cannot live without its parent theme.
