    Hello everyone,
I am following Building AI-Powered Chatbots Without Programming course offered by IBM Skills Network through Coursera. A part of the course includes deploying a chatbot to a website made through WordPress.

I have deployed my chatbot and received the following message.

“Your chatbot has been successfully connected to your WordPress site. Browse your website to see it in action.”

However, once I visit my website, the chatbot is showing:
“Something went wrong.Cannot process your message. Try again later.”

    Please advise.

To deploy the chatbot, I used my API key and Session URL.

Although the course states to use the Environmental URL for the Assistant URL field in WordPress, Environmental URL does not appear for me. Instead, I have Service Instance URL and Session URL.

When I tried using the Service Instance URL, I got an error message saying “Please ensure you entered a valid Assistant URL (404)”

When I tried using the Session URL, I got a message saying “Your chatbot has been successfully connected to your WordPress site. Browse your website to see it in action.”

But as mentioned before, once I visit my website, the chatbot is showing:
“Something went wrong. Cannot process your message. Try again later.”

    Please help me.

    Hi @ineshp,

Firstly, when i clicked the link you provided, everything seems okay and the chatbot worked very well.

    For the second part of your questions;
I faced with the same issues with you while finding right URL. I think, there are some darkness/unclearness about the URL issue in the IBM Watson Assistant. There are also, imho, some confusion while switching between “classic experience” and “new experience”.

To deploy the IBM Watson Chatbot to your wordpress site(which is provided free by IBM Watson as a part of the training)
    Asisstant URL and API Key
go to your IBM Watson Assitant(in classic experience mode).
you should see your Chatbot in that page – “Flower Shop Chatbot”.
click the three dots > settings > API details > Assistant URL
on the same page, there is a link the IBM Cloud console
click it and on the opened page(IBM Watson Service Page) you will be able to see your API key.
Manage > Credentials > API Key.

I hope, this may help you. If it doesnot work, ask again pls.
    Have a nice day.

    Hey @sanalkisilik

Thank you so much for the reply. It seems the chatbot has started to work well automatically. I honestly didn’t do any changes. Not sure how, but I am glad it’s working now.

I hope you have a nice day too.

    Hello @ineshp, @sanalkisilik

Thank you sanalkisilik for your reply. You are absolutely right. Watson Assistant contains three levels of credentials – service as a whole, an individual assistant and each skill. Unfortunately, many students confuse them and get unreasonable error messages.

    Kind regards,
Support for WordPress plugin “Chatbot with IBM Watson”

    My pleasure. Very welcome.
