When there is a foreign character in the import CSV, the system will show database error and stop importing the subscribers. For example, I have a person with the last name ?ilaji. The Z is not really a Z. It will cause an error while trying to import.

Hi, be sure to save the file as UTF-8. Or import copying and pasting in the textarea.

If the error persists, you could have the database not set as utf8mb4. On status page there is a button to attempt an upgrade.

I saved them now in UTF8-BOM.

I discovered a new problem. The first record is always missing in the import.

I did a test and that is not happening to me. Could be the file you’re using? Can you send me (stefano[at]thenewsletterplugin.com) a sample of the file which is not working?

    Thank you, Stefano.
