    Hi there, I just noticed this in my error log:

    [25-Aug-2015 15:23:45 UTC] WordPress database error Query execution was interrupted for query insert into wp_wfHoover (owner, host, path, hostKey) values ('wp-content/uploads/2014/10/canoe-camping-killarney-10-sunset-400x300.jpg', 'm.mv', '/', '+t??') made by do_action('wp_ajax_nopriv_wordfence_doScan'), call_user_func_array, wordfence::ajax_doScan_callback, wfScan::wfScanMain, wfScanEngine->go, wfScanEngine->doScan, call_user_func, wfScanEngine->scan_fileContents_main, wordfenceScanner->scan, wordfenceURLHoover->hoover, wordfenceURLHoover->writeHosts, wfDB->queryWrite

    Would you be able to help me figure out what it means, and how I can resolve the issue?

    Many thanks!!

    It sounds like there was probably a timeout on your site’s database server — this could happen if the host has a low limit on time that a query can run, a limit on query time for your account, or the host may have just been very busy (especially if your site or another site on the same server was under attack).

    If it appears in the log more than once (especially in different hours or days), I think you should ask the hosting company about it. They may be able to change settings on the database server, or figure out what was slowing down the host — unless they intentionally limit the queries your hosting account can run.

    The query that was interrupted should be very fast and normally wouldn’t time out, but Wordfence’s scans can run a lot of similar queries like this in a row, during the daily scan.

    Thanks for the explanation! I’m glad to hear it’s nothing to really worry about ?? I’ve never seen that error before, but I’ll bookmark this thread in case it happens again.
