Error In Post Editing – Please Help

Hello everyone,

Recently there was a database error that caused my pages to merge with my posts (both are under the posts section).

With the help of my host, we rewinded back the database to the day before the incident happened, and everything seemed to be running fine.

However, something else came up, and I think it is related to that error in the database…

Today was the first day I decided to make a new post, after the incident. I discovered that I can’t view the “visual” mode in a post, but only the “code” mode.

I can’t see where I can make words bold, or insert hyperlinks…etc. It is stuck, even when I try to switch and click between both the “code” mode and the “visual” mode, nothing happens.

To be more specific, I’m locked in the “visual” mode but without the editing tools. When I save a post as a draft and choose the “save and continue” function, it comes back in the code mode with html code and stuff. But no way to switch back to visual mode.

I hope I am clear. Is this due to a plugin? I don’t think so, as these were the same plugins working before the database error taking place.

Any clues?
