Error in public display name field this is a select filed type not a text one

    The display name you wrote is a text field where you can enter new names to be publically displayed in author pages or else.

    In wordpress this field is a select field wich alow to choose from différents presentation “Firstname +last name”,”last name +first name”,”lastname”;”firstname” “Nickname”, “login name” … and not ot enter new one.
    in the wordpress official way If you want to change your display name ou have to first change the nickname then choose to use it as a display name.

    Is there an error, or do i have to configure something to have the right behavior.
