Error in sending SMTP email but test email sent successed

  • Hi Guys,

    I have use both Postmam SMTP plugin and WP Mail SMTP both are able to send an test email to me. to set up the SMTP setting too.

    I could receive email successfully from contact form 7 only. Have requested my hosting provider to allow SMTP port like 465 and 587.

    However, when I used other popular plugin such as ninjaform, WPForm and calderaforms, all failed to send any emails at all.

    Below is the error debug log I managed to get from calderaform.

    [ErrorInfo] => The following From address failed: [email protected] : MAIL FROM command failed,,,SMTP server error: MAIL FROM command failedSMTP server error: MAIL FROM command failed

                [authenticate] => SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.
            [connect_host] => SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

    Other info:
    Using zoho for SMTP sending email, not gmail or yahoo.
    I have tried both TLS and SSL, both will work in testing send email but when actual using other form plugin, it didn’t work again.

    LATEST update: still having the same error but able to receive form submission email only via caldera forms plugin.

    I’m not sure why am i having such error.
