Have submitted the sitemap news that contains tags related to Google News (e.g. publisher name, title .. ). In this process the sitemap-news.xml has to be submitted. I can in the google search console that it fetch all the post but returns errors What exactly that means

Your Sitemap is on a site that is not in the Google News database. Google News can only accept Sitemaps from sites that we crawl. If your site is crawled by Google News, please check that the URL of your Sitemap agrees with the URLs of your articles as they appear on Google News, including any leading "www". If you would like to request inclusion of your site in Google News, please contact the Google News support team.

    – How to resolve this .. I have also request indexing : news :

  • Hi, I checked Google News and found no posts from your site yet.

Did you request inclusion into Google News? If not, you’ll need to do that. Read more on https://support.google.com/news/publisher-center/answer/7526416.

If you did, you’ll have to wait for acceptance. If your site is already accepted, then it will still take a little while before your news will start appearing there.

Once that is underway, the error should disappear from Google Search Console by itself.

One thing though: make sure to submit the news sitemap from the exact domain that you submitted for inclusion. So if you’re not using www for example, ask for inclusion of the non-www version of your site in Search Console and submit the non-www version of your news sitemap.
