Error in WooCommerce order: “Payment_method was called incorrectly”

    In the process of investigating why new orders are not reaching the assigned email box, I found this error message:

    Notice: payment_method was called incorrectly. Order properties should not be accessed directly.     Plugins we are using are:
    WooCommerce Admin by WooCommerce – 0.22.0
    All Currencies for WooCommerce by WP Wham – 2.3.2 – Not tested with the active version of WooCommerce
    WooCommerce Canada Post Webservice Method by Jamez Picard – 1.6.9
    WOOCS – WooCommerce Currency Switcher by realmag777 – 1.3.0 – Not tested with the active version of WooCommerce
    WooCommerce Moneris Gateway by WooThemes / SkyVerge – 2.3.4 – Not tested with the active version of WooCommerce
    WooCommerce by Automattic – 3.8.0
    WooCommerce Helper by WooCommerce – 1.7.2 – Not tested with the active version of WooCom

    No sure which plugin investigate here. WooComm or WooComm Moneris Gateway, or?

    WooComm or WooComm Moneris Gateway, or?

    Your Moneris gateway is severely outdated. Updating it to the most recent version as per the changelog here should resolve the issue.
