Error Installing WP – Freezes

You are sure you have all files uploaded correctly?
Have you checked with your host that they meet all the requirements?
Are you on a Linux or Windows server?

Files are uploaded correctly.

Host *should* meet recomendations.

I believe the server is FreeBSD.

Can you use phpmyadmin to see if the tables have actually been created?

This has been posted here before and I think the answer is an edit to the install file… I’ll try to find.

Have you tried looking at the blog url to see if the blog is there? If so, using phpmyadmin can get your password.

Ah, thanks. I found my problem.

My host: “I removed sendmail due to abuse from poorly written PHP scripts.”

Now I’ll go try to work around it…
