Error: invalid ‘client_id’ or ‘client_secret’

    I’m seeing an error stating:
    Unknown Error (code: invalid ‘client_id’ or ‘client_secret’). To fix this, redo the plugin setup.

    When I click the link to “redo the setup”, I simply see a white page that says “invalid parameter: ‘client_id'”

    When I go to Site Kit > Search Console in my wordpress admin, I see errors (see https://nimb.ws/Q2EltZ)

    And when I try to edit the settings, I see the same error and can’t select a property (see https://nimb.ws/X8h3Se)

    Thanks for opening a support topic, and sorry to hear you’ve been encountering trouble view your dashboards the plugin. As it looks like you were already connected at some stage please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Did you change your site URL or migrate your site recently? If so you may need to reset Site Kit, in order for the plugin to recognize a URL change.

    Once we have the above information we can troubleshoot this further and ensure you are able to connect and view the Site Kit dashboards as expected. Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    I’ve submitted the form. I will try to reset Site Kit…however, i didn’t do the original set up and may have questions

    Thanks for sharing! I’ve inspected your site and I didn’t spot anything unusual from the checks performed. From reviewing the Site Health information you kindly provided I did notice a backup related plugin. If you restored this site from elsewhere before using this plugin, it is possible your site URLs don’t match the URLs on registered on the Site Kit service, if you previously attempted plugin setup.

    Please do go ahead with the Site Kit reset before attempting to set up the plugin once more. And no problem regarding additional questions, feel free to put forward any queries here!
