Can you provide a link to the plugin so I can test it?

I don’t get this error when I install it. What function are you running when when you get this error?

The plugin you’re translating has a couple of problems anyway:

    1. It doesn’t have a POT file, so Loco is attempting falling back on the MO file to use as a template. But peters_post_notes.mo is empty so this is going to fail.

    2. The plugin is called peters-post-notes (with hyphens) but it uses peters_post_notes (with underscores) as its text domain, but doesn’t declare it. This means Loco will make some wrong guesses about what files should be called.

You should ask the author to provide a proper POT file in the distribution and also add the Text Domain: peters_post_notes header tag declaration.

Thank you very much, I’ll ask the author!
