    Hi @ahmedfawzi55,

We have tested with Woocommerce this updated NUA version ( Plugin Link ) is working fine. If you are using another plugin then please test on your own or tell us the plugin name.

    Thank you

We are experiencing this same “double password” issue on a “bare” install of WordPress as of recently. Is there a plan to fix this?

    Hi @zadro,

Can you please let me know which plugin you are using for registration?

    Thank you

    Hi @hamza1010

WordPress is handling registration — not using any other plugins for users.

    Hi @zadro,

We assume you mean you are using the WordPress default registration form for user registration. WordPress default Register form does not contain any password field.

    Thank you

I agree, and I’m not referencing password “fields” here, but rather needing to go through the password process twice.

    Here’s a full explanation:

When a new user registers, the admin receives a notice to approve. Then, after the admin approves, the user receives a link in their email to setup their password. The user creates a password and successfully logs in. Great, so far so good.

However, on first login, the user is greeted with a notification to change their password. Why? They just set their password in the previous step, so this is creating confusion. After they change the password that was just setup in the previous step, they are then allowed to access the site. This is the issue or “double password” I previously mentioned.

This first password created should work. Please test and fix so this multiple (double) password setup is not required.

    Hi @zadro,

Thanks for the detailed explanation, It seems the notice that asks the users to change their password is being generated from some other plugin/theme, no such notice gets generated by New User Approve or the WordPress core.

You will need to identify the plugin/theme that generates the notice.

    Thank you
