ERROR: Invalid verification code.

    I’m encountering the same error, “ERROR: Invalid verification code.,” on two WordPress sites, when attempting to login using FIDO U2F. In both instances, the keys (Yubikeys) are recognized and added during registration, but fail during authorization.

    Here’s the odd part: one of the two keys is a Yubikey NEO and WILL allow authentication using NFC on my mobile device. I’ve disabled all other plugins and external services (Cloudflare) on the sites but receive the same error on OSX Chrome 57.xxx and Firefox 52.0.2. Stumped. Suggestions?

    Can you please share more details about the two-factor authentication methods you have enabled and configured?

    Secondly, where do you see the error — how can I reproduce it?

    Could you please check if the latest version of the Two-Factor plugin fixes the issue?
