    Hi, i have the same problem here. I have entered the right API.
    The error message: “No List selected. You will not be able to use this form.”
    Please advice

    Hello there,

    We’d like to get some additional details to better assist.

    Are you getting any success or failure indications after inputting your Mad Mimi info? You should get a red X, a green check, and your lists should only appear (just underneath here) after getting a green check.

    If you lists are not appearing try getting a new API from Mad Mimi, and trying again. Let us know your results and we’ll keep working on this if the issue persists.

    EDIT: I’m an idiot and gave it the wrong email address originally. Literally took me digging into plugin code (PHP is not my strong suit) and wondering “where is it getting my email address?” Leaving the below message intact in case anyone else has a similar lapse of common sense!

    I input the correct API key, see the red ‘x’, and never get to choose between my lists. Above, I see these warnings:

    Warning: simplexml_load_string(): Entity: line 1: parser error : Start tag expected, ‘<‘ not found in /home/[username]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mad-mimi-wp/providers/madmimi/functions.php on line 25

    Warning: simplexml_load_string(): Unable to authenticate in /home/[username]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mad-mimi-wp/providers/madmimi/functions.php on line 25

    Warning: simplexml_load_string(): ^ in /home/[username]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mad-mimi-wp/providers/madmimi/functions.php on line 25

    I’ve regenerated my API key to no avail. I tried deactivating all other plugins and the issue persisted. I also tried it on a local install and it worked fine.

    Hello there

    @ablake313 Did you also try switching to a default theme. This seems to be an isolated incident, of which we have no other reports. I’ve not seen those particular error messages before.

    Did you also try checking your theme for conflicts? Please revert to a default WordPress theme like ‘Twenty Seventeen’, and see if the issue persists.

    Let us know your results, and we’ll go from there.

    @valhen Please let us know if the previous steps helped to resolve the situation, or if there is anything more we can do.

    @fatcatapps See my edit. I resolved the issue by inputting the correct email address for my Mad Mimi account, so no need to worry about me!

    Think it’s time to open this one back up. I’m having issues with this very same thing. I’ve double checked my email that I sign into MadMimi with, I’ve double and triple checked the configuration of the plugin, I’ve regenerated the API several times. It consistently gives me the error List Not Set. What is the deal with this? It’s a great form and I’d love to utilize it, but if it’s not going to work in the free version, how do I know it will work in the paid version? Or is this just a side-winding tactic to get people to spend money on the paid version??!!
