Error loading event date in Gutenberg editor

  • Hi there,

    I’ve just wanted to try and see if this plugin could be the perfect tool for our webpage to schedule our events. However, I cannot really begin to test it as the options won’t show as soon as click to add a new event (I’m not sure whether this is the exact translation since I’m using the German version of the plugin). I’ve checked several tutorial videos and supposedly a pop window should appear which would allow me to enter all the settings. But the window is not popping up. I have tried different browsers, different networks, I have even installed the app across different wordpress installations on different hosting panels. So now I don’t know what else to do to get this plugin working. Anyone got an idea?

    Btw I also set the timezone.

    My guess is a conflict with another plugin. Can you use the Inspector in Chrome or Firefox to check whether there are JavaScript errors when the editor screen is loaded for an RSVPMaker event?

    If you display the editor sidebar with the document properties, do you see a button labeled RSVP / Event Options? There should be a calendar widget displayed in the sidebar as well.

    I did try switching a test site to Deutch, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue.
