Error lock after upgrade

  • While trying to update plugin it froze and now I cannot get into the site to lift lock. I did not build site originally I only maintain so cannot go to PHP to cancel plugin. HELP

  • Yeah, this is a bummer.

    Options for you:

    1. if you have .ftp access to the site, rename the plugin folder and then try to get back into the site.

    2. work with the host provider to get .ftp access if you don’t already have it.

    Thanks I do have ftp but not on this particular site! Not sure who the host provider is!! but will keep trying.
