error log in to dashboard

  • Dear sir
    after key in the user name on wordpress admin login page, it show “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” this error message

    please help how to solve this problem?

  • Hello, do you have any user role or admin role management type plugin installed? Are you able to access phpMyAdmin and check the user role in the database? You can find user roles in the wp_usermeta table. In the table wp_capabilities should have a meta value of something similar to a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;} for your user ID. If it does not then your user does not have administrator access.
