“Error: Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard. To fix this, redo the plugin setup.”

We made a copy of our site A(sydney.seekitshop.com) and make it a site B(brisbane.seekitshop.com). Now we’re in site A site kit, it shows the error below and when we try to connect, site kit want us to verify if we are the owner of site B (meanwhile the setting is in site A). it should ask us to verify if we were site A. We also removed site B’s site kit and the problem presist.

It was working fine with only one site, it happens after we copy the whole site.

When we click on settings in site A, it says our analytics and search console was connected with green ticks.

    Anyway to fix the problem?

    Thanks

Thanks for reaching out, hopefully we can assist the cause and ensure Site Kit works as expected.

As you’ve used site A as a template for creating a second site the URLs assigned on the Site Kit service don’t match. In order to resolve this please try to reset Site Kit on site B and follow the setup procedure for site B individually. While you’ve already removed or maybe uninstalled Site Kit from site b this is separate to resetting the plugin, which updates the Site Kit service.

Can you inform me if this allows you to report on site B individually?

Let me know if you have any questions on the above.
