Please accept my apologies for your inconvenience.

May I know when you are facing this error?

Can you please retry after clearing your cache?

    Hello,

my Provider send me every day this error message.

    Plesk

“Für folgende Elemente wurden keine Updates installiert:

    1. Website “xyz” (https://www.xyz.de): Failed to reset cache for the instance #900: Fehler bei der Dekodierung von JSON: Decoding failed: Syntax error”

I think this is an automatic check by the provider. If I uninstall the plugin, this message no longer appears.

    Kind regards
    Jens

Open Admin Dashboard > WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist Firewall Rules (tab) > 6G Blacklist/Firewall Settings (section), ensure that the checkbox “Enable 6G Firewall Protection” and the checkbox “Enable legacy 5G Firewall Protection” are unticked and save them.

    Then see what will happen.

This seems similar to my issue: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/issues-with-siteground-since-update/

Unticking those options, disabling features of your plugin’s firewall doesn’t seem like a good solution. What’s the point of the firewall if the firewall features need to be disabled?

    Hi,

Please accept my apologies for your inconvenience.

It looks like your hosting is using WordPress REST API for clearing the cache.

    Please untick the below checkboxes:

    • Go to Admin Dashboard > WP Security > Miscellaneous > WP Rest (tab) and untick the checkbox “Disallow Unauthorized REST Requests” and save settings.
    • Go to Admin Dashboard > WP Security > User Login > Additional Settings (tab) and untick the checkbox “Disable Application Password” and save settings

Then check whether the issue will be resolved or not.
