    It seems that you may have an older version of PHP on your server. Please update to 5.3 or anything greater, as is now required by WP RSS Aggregator.

    I am getting nearly identical error:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in …/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/includes/Aventura/Wprss/Core/Loader.php on line 3

    phpMyAdmin
    Version information: 3.5.8.2

    Any ideas on how to fix? I have purchased add-ons and would feel a lot better at least getting the free part working.
