  • Hi, just stopping in to say that I’m also received this error message after updating.

    Same problem here
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_userdata()
    wp-includes/user.php on line 360

    Seems to be an oversight from the developer – I suspect that ‘media_popup_taxonomy_edit’ is a new field in an array. If you just update the plugin, this field doesn’t appear to get created, giving a php error.

    I deactivated the plugin, then reactivated it and the problem seems to have gone.

    The update process should have initialised any new required data structures in the first place.

    Hi all,

    1) “Notice: Undefined index: media_popup_taxonomy_edit…”
    It’s a small bug of v2.0.4, will be fixed with the new release tonight. Right now, just push “Save Changes” button on Media Settings > Taxonomies admin page, it will fix the issue. Or deactivate/reactivate like Tony (@drtonyb) said (thanks!).

    2) “Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_userdata()”
    @nowe – thanks for information! Did you see this immediately after update?

    Not sure what this can be, testing. If someone else have same issue, please describe your conditions (theme, active plugins, suspected incompatible plugin, when you can see this error). Thanks! Will be fixed as soon as possible.

    Sorry for inconvenience!

    Hi @nowe,

    I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue yet, but I believe I fixed it in 2.0.4.1 ??

    Please confirm!

    I just got general silent failure, no error message so while I’m in production at the moment I have reverted back to 2.0.3.

    Basically when I uploaded photos, none of the EML material was showing up in the window, selecting photos was not working correctly, and eventually cllcking “Create gallery” did nothing.

    Hello @mikelbyl,

    I am sorry to hear this. Please give me more details:

    1) did you update to 2.0.4 or to 2.0.4.1?

    2) What do you mean by “silent failure”? What you described in your second paragraph?

    Changes to 2.0.4.1 weren’t so dramatic to break all around. What you described sounds like JS issue, but the JS of 2.0.4 and 2.0.4.1 isn’t different at all.

    There are differences in the JS of 2.0.3 and 2.0.4, but no one complained about it so far.

    Could you please try again in non-business hours and let me know if you can see any error in browser “developer tools”?

    Thanks!

    -Nadia

    1. 2.0.4.

    2. I just mean that I didn’t get the error message people were reporting, only the behaviour described.

    I will do more extensive testing a bit later, including with the newer version. I know my earlier message is a little “light” on information that could help diagnose the issue.

    @webbistro
    2.0.4.1 still the same problem

    @nowe,

    That’s not good. Can you please post screenshots of the pages with error?
