Hello, a little confused, hoping someone can explain what this error message means?

“Warning: The scheduler is disabled in your WordPress install, via the DISABLE_WP_CRON setting. No backups can run (even “Backup Now”) unless either you have set up a facility to call the scheduler manually, or until it is enabled.”

The weird part is the backups are clearly occurring, and I’ve even used them. Am I missing something important?

    Thanks for any help:D

    Hi,

So that warning explains that you have the define DISABLE_WP_CRON somewhere in your install which as it suggests disables WordPress Cron.

In order for backups to work it needs some sort of Cron scheduler by default it will use the built in WordPress one so if thats disabled and nothing else is setup then backups won’t work.

In your case it appears the WordPress one is disabled but you have something else setup that allows your backups to work.

So you can safely ignore the above warning.

    Best Wishes,

    Ashley

    Thanks for your help, Ashley!

I get a error message as well, when i try to back up using updraft plugin.

I am not sure, what it means?
