Error message – Dashboard

    I am seeing this error message in the wordpress dashboard:

    I logged into my CleanTalk dashboard and everything seems to be functioning — so I really don’t know what the error message means, just that it won’t go away. (I tried deactivating & reactivating the plugin, clearing all caches, & synchronizing with cloud)

    Probably, the reason is the hostname you specified in the CleanTalk dashboard.

    We will check how we can fix this, please, change nothing in the dashboard or plugin settings for 3 days.

    We have fixed the problem.
    Please, reinstall the plugin. ( Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip )

    Here is the guide:
    1. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    2. Find the plugin “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    3. After the automatic page refresh find the plugin again “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    5. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    4. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    6. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.

    Then use this guide to change your hostname in the CleanTalk account. https://cleantalk.org/help/change-service-url

    The correct hostname is davismethod.org
