    Help!

For about the past week, whenever I try to log in to my blog, I get this message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_redirect() in /home/brykm2/public_html/wp-content/themes/default/sidebar_old.png(457) : runtime-created function(1) : eval()’d code on line 456

My blog is still available to view, but there’s no longer an “Edit” link under each post.

Anybody out there seen anything like this? Anybody have a clue?

My host is LunarPages, BTW, if that helps anything.

    I’d appreciate any help!

That’s… odd. I’d say you got hacked.

Look closely at your theme. It may have been altered by somebody else.

Hmm … okay … but i can’t get into edit mode, how do i look at my theme?

sorry, but i really don’t know the inner workings … i’m not sure where to look …

    PS Thanks for the reply!

You mean you cannot login? I just looked at your site’s source code and it looks fine from here. You appear to be using a modified version of the default (kubrick) theme.

Just user FTP to rename that default theme folder and reupload the *original* default theme and use it. Maybe that will allow you to login. (Stranger things have happened.) Contact me offlist (view my profile) if you need help.

okay, hmm … i think i can do that …

i know how i can rename the folder … i’ll look into reloading the original theme … i’ll email you if i get stuck …

thanks joni, and thanks otto too … !

BTW, to answer your question, the error message above is what i got when trying to access my edit page (i.e. clicking my bookmark to https://brykmantra.com/wp-admin). I’ve been doing it that way for three years, so i never really give it much thought.

And now when i try the same thing, i just get a blank page, and it says “Done” in the status bar.

Oh, and another thing: I just renewed by domain name registration at Network Solutions, about the same time as this started happening. Is that a coincidence, or might that be a factor …

Sorry i didn’t bring this up earlier, but it didn’t occur to me …

    Thanks again!

Okay, Joni, that did it! I really appreciate the help!
