error message from wp-mail.php hack (John Blade)

bump….can anyone help?

I would ask:
– who is John Blade ?
– where is this file of his ?

And why did you feel the need to replace a core file ?

Because the replacement offers functionality that is useful to me and which is not available in the basic wp-mail.php file. I found it through the Wiki – https://wiki.www.ads-software.com/How%20To%20Blog%20By%20Email

What advice did the author give you when contacted him about this error ?

Have you definitely activated the plugin ?

Have left a comment on the author’s blog, but haven’t had a response.

It’s not really a plugin, strictly speaking – there’s nothing to activate (at least I don’t think there is!)

John Blade’s site is down at the moment. Not sure what’s happening.
There was a typo in the code regarding this line:
//Check poster to see if a valid person
$poster = checkposter($from);

podz, it’s not a plugin, just replaces the wp-mail.php file.
If someone needs the modified file let me know and I’ll mail it to you.
It works great here! Another fellow Rick was working on the code regarding image resizing, but I have lost the URL to his updated wp-mail.php.

Just remove it from the ( ) and comment it out
