Error message not shown on Register form

Using Captcha 3.8.4 on WP 3.6.
I noticed that on the registration form (wp-login.php?action=register), when a user doesn’t fill the captcha, or inserts an incorrect value in it, the form displays an empty red box with no error messages at all.
