Hi there, I have deleted most of my website to start over fresh eek! I haven’t uninstalled woocommerce at all since it was last working for the past 3 years I did temporarily deactivate but now I am getting the white screen error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/99/12785799/html/wp-content/themes/delightful-pro/woocommerce.php on line 39

I had a look at it and the line of code is:

    <div class=”custom-background”></div>

I am not sure what the issue is I have tried deleting the line…but that didn’t make a different anyone got any idea what the issue is please?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi there,

It looks like your Delightful Pro theme is causing issues. You need to check for a theme update or activate a new theme that’s compatible with WooCommerce like [Storefront](https://www.woocommerce.com/storefront/) or a default theme like Twenty Seventeen. You might also check your System Status report for error messages, from the dashboard, go to WooCommerce >> Status. Finally, make sure you’re plugins, including WooCommerce, are up to date.
