    Hi Guys, I just updated my website to 4.3 and this error message appeared

    Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘wp_admin_bar_customize_menu’ not found or invalid function name in /home/danyalsad/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 579

    It did not come up on my 2nd website but on this one . But site functions are working perfectly fine, just this error message in admin panel header and website footer

    -Try MANUAL updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old copies of files & folder on your server before uploading the new ones.

    Read the Manual Update directions first.

    You are welcome ??

    Even though this topic has been set to “resolved” it would be nice to know how the error came into existence…

    @blamedutchie The usual suspect is that somebody attempted a manual update, but failed to update the files in the WordPress root directory.

    When WordPress updates, and new files are added, then they are often included from the wp-settings.php file in the root directory. If somebody attempts to update by simply replacing the wp-includes and wp-admin directories, but does not also update the root WordPress files, then the files with the new functions are not included, and you get errors like this.

    @samuel Wood

    In my case that is not what happened. I updated my wordpress install through the admin interface and I also get the errormessages… In my experience with every WP – and we go back a long way – with every update/upgrade some issues get fixed and new ones get introduced.

    The time it takes to figure out whether the culprit is a plugin, the theme or the WP install itself is one of the reasons I have a love/hate relationship with it.

    I would recommend creating a new thread when you come across another issue; https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform – Looking at threads that have your symptoms won’t necessarily lead to a solution that works for you

    @andrew:

    Thanks…
