Error message subscription list new subscribers

    Error message when new subscribers try to opt in via footer widget.

    The system then emails me to say
    “10: Subscriber added to lists, but confirmation email failed to send: something went wrong with your subscription. please contact the website owner.The optin campaign “footer” is failing to convert leads due to the following error”

    The customers email does get added to the subscription list, but only as unconfirmed. They never received the opt in email confirmation. The button ‘resend confirmation email’ doesn’t work.

    Can someone help?

    Hi @lillyandlace,

    It seems your sending method is not working as expected, so the confirmation emails are not being sent.

    Can you please let us know if you can send a test email or a preview to yourself?

    If you’re sending with the MailPoet Sending Service, can you please let us know what’s your website’s domain, so I can search for your account?

    Thank you for looking into this.
    Test emails do not work either. If I could attach a screenshot of the error message I would. website domain is https://www.lillyandlace.com.au – you can try the footer sign up at the bottom of the home page, it will show the error.
