Error message trying to log in

    I have just ported a wp site to a new account with the same hosting provider (Go Daddy). Both sites were running 3.3.1. the owner of the original account shipped me the database and the wp-content directory. The site came accross fine and displays fine. (howtoelimatepain.com). The problem is that when I try to log in I get the following error messages:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/30/9026430/html/wp-content/themes/2010-weaver/ttw-settings.php:53) in /home/content/30/9026430/html/wp-login.php on line 349

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/30/9026430/html/wp-content/themes/2010-weaver/ttw-settings.php:53) in /home/content/30/9026430/html/wp-login.php on line 361

    The login box shows up, I enter the userid/password, and then get half a dozen more error messages like above, and then it just hangs.

    Any ideas about a way forward?

    Hi Simon,

    Typically we see these errors when there’s extra code and/or whitespace in the actual code. However, I see that it’s an issue with the theme “2010-weaver”. You may want to contact the theme’s developer.

    Tim,

    I have talked with the Weaver people, and so far have not got anywhere useful. Lots of finger pointing, and thats it.

    So, I need to move forward. I can not log in to WP, but I have FTP access. I want to obviously minimize damage, as in content, comments etc. So how can I replace the Theme with FTP so I can gain access?

    Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Hi

    I am getting this error when i try to redirect the page to a url ;
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by((output started at …/wp-content/themes/weaver/wvr-includes/wvr-fileio.php:81))

    No other solutions except changing the theme ?
