Error message using Network Solutions

I’m trying to upload WordPress to my site on Network Solutions but I keep getting the “Error Establishing a Database Connection.”

I created a database and have entered that name as the “DB_NAME” in the wp-config file. I’ve also entered the FTP name, which happens to be the same as the database name, and my password is entered correctly. I’ve left the host as “local.”

Has anyone else had similar problems? Am I missing something obvious?
